Role Summary

We’re looking for an established Business Analyst to join us and take on the challenge of defining, shaping and delivering our end clients product visions. 

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role throughout the project life-cycle, working closely with internal & external stakeholders to capture requirements and customer needs, translate them into specifications and work closely with a delivery team as they build and deliver the successful solution.

Our projects cover many  industries, work methodologies, deliverables and clients so your primary focus will depend on the projects we are working on:  You may act as a squad Business Analyst on a scaled agile framework project, you may lead a project or you may support on a CX led project.  You will be expected to work on any or all of the stages of the SDLC. At times, you may be asked to support on other projects and work with the Business Development team if they require BA support during the sales process, so adaptability is a must-have.

Responsibilities

  • BAing for cross functional teams, you should be familiar with working up and downstream of UX/UI teams.
  • Involved in discovery phases of work, participating and facilitating in requirement elicitation sessions.
  • Take an existing high level design backlog and breakdown to DOR UX/Design tickets
    Take UX/UI outputs and breakdown to DOR dev stories
  • Maintain product backlog, refining, reprioritising and ensuring upcoming sprints are planned out
  • Run scrum sprint ceremonies, including client demos.
  • Manage client feedback to ensure deliverables are within original scope, and garner client sign-off
  • Running technical feasibility workshops and recording/documenting program partners sign-off of designs
  • Comfortable working in a team of Bas as well as independently.
  • Work across the spectrum of stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of the business strategy and a shared vision of the product, its challenges, and opportunities
  • Ability to identify and communicate risks, assumptions and constraints effectively with the delivery team and business stakeholders alike
  • Ability to understand and capture complex journeys and business requirements and then replay these to the business
  • Lead story refinement sessions with product owners and design teams
  • Ensure the business requirements are capable of being implemented and tested by the wider project team and identify and communicate dependencies and limitations to all stakeholders
  • Play an active role is solving product related problems, making decisions and complete tradeoff analysis to stay on track with agreed deliverables and timeframes.
  • Work closely with the client, relevant 3rd party external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding, and expert knowledge, of the product road map, strategic vision and project success criteria.
  • We operate a hybrid working model; you will be expected to attend the office but not 5 days a week.

 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 plus years in a Business Analysis role, ideally with experience in more than 1 industry
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects, ideally within a fast-paced digital agency or consultancy environment
  • Experience working with design / UX teams
  • Experience with onshore and offshore tech teams preferable
  • Self-starter, comfortable acting with little supervision and a keen sense of project ownership
  • Understanding of customer experience and user centered design process
  • Knowledge of different working methodologies such as Scrum Kanban and Waterfall
  • Experience of gathering and documenting high quality business requirements (including both functional and non-functional), including interacting with business stakeholders through workshops, meetings, interviews and written communication
  • Understanding of technical development (front & back end and QA)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Capable of developing strong, long-term relationships with multiple client stakeholders and team members
  • Excellent attention to detail, logical mindset and problem-solving nature
