Role Summary

We’re starting work on an exciting new greenfield project this autumn and are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join us and take on the challenge of defining, shaping and delivering our end clients product vision. 

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role throughout the project life-cycle, working closely with internal & external stakeholders to capture requirements and customer needs, translate them into specifications and work closely with an agile design team as they build and deliver the successful solution.

Your primary focus will be the realization of designs for a new web build for a multinational financial client. You will act as a squad Business Analyst on this scaled agile framework project. At times, you may be asked to support on other projects and work with the Business Development team if they require BA support during the sales process, so adaptability is a must-have.

  • BA for a UX/Design team squad, in a multi partner program of work for a large bank.
  • Take an existing high level design backlog and breakdown to DOR UX/Design tickets
  • Maintain product backlog

  • Run scrum sprint ceremonies , including client demos.
  • Manage client feedback to ensure deliverables are within original scope, and garner client sign-off
  • Running technical feasibility workshops and recording/documenting program partners sign-off of designs
  • Liase with other squad Bas and project lead BA to ensure efficiencies achieved across squads where possible
  • Handover designs to FE tech
  • Work across the spectrum of stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of the business strategy and a shared vision of the product, its challenges, and opportunities
  • Ability to identify and communicate risks, assumptions and constraints effectively with the delivery team and business stakeholders alike
  • Ability to understand and capture complex journeys and business requirements and then replay these to the business
  • Lead story refinement sessions with product owners and design teams
  • Ensure the business requirements are capable of being implemented and tested by the wider project team and identify and communicate dependencies and limitations to all stakeholders
  • Play an active role is solving product related problems, making decisions and complete tradeoff analysis to stay on track with agreed deliverables and timeframes.
  • Constantly review and prioritise the backlog to ensure upcoming sprints are planned out
  • Work closely with the client, relevant 3rd party external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding, and expert knowledge, of the product road map, strategic vision and project success criteria.


Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 plus years in a Business Analysis role, ideally with financial experience
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects, ideally within a fast-paced digital agency or consultancy environment
  • Experience working with design / ux teams
  • Experience with offshore tech teams
  • Self-starter, comfortable acting with little supervision and a keen sense of project ownership
  • Thorough understanding of service design, customer experience and the UCD process
  • Excellent working knowledge of the agile methodology development lifecycle
  • Experience of gathering and documenting high quality business requirements (including both functional and non-functional), including interacting with business stakeholders through workshops, meetings, interviews and written communication
  • Understanding of technical development (front & back end and QA)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, at all levels from C-suite to end users
  • Capable of developing strong, long-term relationships with multiple client stakeholders and team members
  • Excellent attention to detail, logical mindset and problem-solving nature
